The Toucan Rescue Ranch spends thousands of dollars each month to maintain operating costs. It costs a lot of money to feed and care for the 200 different animals we care for at the Ranch. If you want to be involved with helping with these costs and help feed our animals please donate towards our operating costs! When an animal is not able to be released into the wild, it is important to give that animal the best life in captivity. Enrichment is a large part of keep animals happy.
900 Pounds of Papaya
The Toucan Rescue Ranch goes through roughly 900 lbs of papaya in one week. This doesn’t include the other various fruits and vegetables that the wildlife eats.
Medical Supplies
The clinic is an essential component of our rehabilitation center. When restocking the various supplies that we use such as syringes, medicine, sterilization tools and so forth it can be an extremely pricey expense.
Growth Means More
The Ranch continues to grow and with growth means more expenses. Since TRR’s humble beginnings, it accepts and cares for nearly 200 animals all with unique demands to remain healthy.
