FAQ About Visiting Toucan Rescue Ranch's Sanctuary:
At Toucan Rescue Ranch, we do not allow visitors to hold sloths or other wildlife. This policy is in line with Costa Rican wildlife laws, which prohibit direct interaction with wildlife to prevent stress and harm to the animals. Our priority is their well-being, and we focus on education and observation, where you can safely learn about and admire the animals in their natural environment. Respecting wildlife is key to conservation efforts.
We are open to the public ONLY BY RESERVATION. We’re open Tuesday to Sunday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please check our website for any special closures or updates. We are available for wildlife emergencies 24/7.
