By symbolically adopting the illusive Oncilla, you’ll directly contribute to its ongoing food and care. Your generous donation provides for the needs of this nocturnal, nectar-loving species for approximately three months! Upon checkout, you’ll receive a digital adoption package complete with your Adoption Certificate and a thank-you email that includes your tax-deductible information.
Oncilla Facts (Fun Fact Sheet Included in Digital Package):
- Stealthy and Solitary: Oncillas are elusive, nocturnal hunters that prefer to live alone, using their spotted coats as camouflage in dense forests.
- Agile Climbers: Though they are primarily ground-dwelling, oncillas are excellent climbers and can easily scale trees to escape predators or hunt for prey.
- Rare and Endangered: Oncillas are one of the smallest wild cats in the Americas and are classified as Vulnerable due to habitat loss and illegal pet trade.
