Create Enrichment That Makes a Difference!
Enrichment is an essential part of caring for wild animals in human care. It encourages natural behaviors such as foraging, problem-solving, exploring, and playing.
Working alongside our experienced staff, you’ll design and create an enrichment item tailored to one of our permanent resident animal groups. Then comes the best part—watching as the animals discover, investigate, and interact with your creation!
Every workshop is unique, offering a fascinating glimpse into the daily work of wildlife rehabilitation and sanctuary care.
Customize Your Wildlife Enrichment Experience!
Your workshop and guided experience will focus on one of the following resident groups:
- Mustelids (grisons and otter)
- Toucans
- Psittacids (parrots, parakeets, and macaws)
- Spider monkeys
- Wild cats (jaguarundi and oncilla)
Throughout the experience, your guide will share species-specific facts, individual rescue stories, and insights into how enrichment improves animal welfare.
Please note: Wild cat enrichment may involve handling raw meat, while otter enrichment may involve handling raw fish.

Every Experience Designed Around Animal Wellbeing
At Toucan Rescue Ranch, animal well-being always comes first.
For the safety of both guests and wildlife:
- Guests do not enter animal enclosures.
- Guests do not touch, handle, or directly feed the animals.
- All activities are designed to promote natural behaviors while respecting each animal’s needs.

Donation Prices
- $325 USD for groups of 1–5 participants
- $50 USD for each additional participant
