Your safety, our priority: Toucan Rescue Ranch’s COVID-19 protocol for on-site tours
As part of our reopening plan in late 2020, we established a COVID-19 protocol to ensure we keep the safety of our tour guides, staff, and visitors alike. That way, you can rest easy knowing that your visit is following all the international protocols so you can enjoy yourself!
So, what is our COVID-19 protocol?
Only 10 people per tour:
We offer a maximum of 10 spaces per tour with as few social bubbles as possible, to prevent exposure of both the guests and our staff.
Cleaning and disinfecting procedure:
All surfaces are disinfected at the start and end of every on-site tour with a clean towel for each area. This includes our Education Center, toilets, and the barriers in the animal areas.
Obligatory use of face masks:
Guests must be wearing a face mask without a valve and use a face shield only as a complementary accessory. We also offer disposable masks at $1.00 if someone doesn’t bring their own, but if the guests refuse to use a mask, the entry will be rejected.
Social distancing:
We are maintaining safe social distancing, and we are asking guests to keep 1.8 m or 6 feet from other guests or bubbles and stand on the marks on the floor.
Temperature measuring before entry:
To ensure everyone’s safety, guests’ temperature must be taken for every person that arrives at Toucan Rescue Ranch. Additionally, we ask guests if they had any contact with someone with COVID-19 symptoms or if they are experiencing the symptoms themselves.
Hand sanitizing stations:
After guests enter our facilities, they are asked to wash their hands with soap or disinfect their hands with hand sanitizer.
We hope this information is helpful to you, so you can have peace of mind about coming for your exciting tour at Toucan Rescue Ranch!Â
