WHERE?
The annual fundraiser is hosted by Riverside Marketplace Pizzeria and Gastropub off Route 32, Carretera Braulio Carillo, Heredia, Costa Rica. It promises to be a memorable evening filled with great music, phenomenal food, and the chance to make a difference in the lives of wildlife and their conservation!
WHEN?
Join us on February 8, 2024!
Arrive at 5:30 PM for appetizers, drinks, and live music from local bands! Cas will play at 5:30 PM followed by the Josh Quinlan Quartet at 6:15 PM. Opening remarks from our founder, Leslie Howle, and owner of Riverside, Daniel Harris, will be at 6 PM.
The rest of the evening will be immersed in calypso music by our headliner Manuel Monestel y Triunvirato! It is sure to be a night to remember.
Any time during the event, be sure to visit the silent auction table! There will be lots of unique and interesting items, experiences, and activites to bid on, with all proceeds going towards the upkeep and day-to-day expenses of our rescue and sanctuary!
WHY?
Tunes for Toucans is a benefit concert and silent auction that raises funds for our grassroots nonprofit rescue, helping us to cover Toucan Rescue Ranch’s operating costs for the year. These costs include medical expenses, specialized diets, enclosure upkeep, general property maintenance, enrichment, and other measures necessary to provide our residents with the best life in captivity and our release candidates with a second chance in the wild!
Fundraising events like these not only help us raise money, but they help our community grow. The businesses and musicians we collaborate with to bring this event together all have a common goal: to help save Costa Rican wildlife!

Admission is $30 or ₡15,000 and includes one appetizer, one drink (alcoholic or otherwise), access to the silent auction, live music from three local bands, and, of course, knowing you are making a difference in the conservation of Costa Rican wildlife!
