International Day of Charity

The International Day of Charity is observed annually on 5 September. It was declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012. The prime purpose of the International Day of Charity is to raise awareness and provide a common platform for charity related activities all over the world for individuals, charitable, philanthropic and volunteer organizations for their own purposes on the local, national, regional and international level.

The #PapayaisLife Ongoing Fund!

The Toucan Rescue Ranch spends thousands of dollars each month to maintain operating costs. It costs a lot of money to feed and care for the 400 different animals at the Ranch. If you want to be involved with helping with these costs and help feed our animals please donate towards our operating costs! Your donation will also help with veterinary services, medical equipment and enrichment.

900 POUNDS OF PAPAYA

The Toucan Rescue Ranch goes through roughly 900 pounds of papaya in one week. This doesn’t include the green beans, carrots, melon, fish, banana, plantain, berries and a variety of vegetables that we use for the many different diets at the TRR.

THE CLINIC & MEDICAL SUPPLIES

The clinic is an essential component of our rehabilitation center. Restocking the various supplies such as syringes, medicine, oxygen, bandage materials, sterilization tools and much more can be very expensive. But by helping with the #PapayaisLife fund you are directly helping with animal emergencies!

GROWTH MEANS MORE…MUCH MORE

The Ranch continues to grow and with growth means more expenses. TRR accepts and cares for nearly 400 animals all with unique demands to remain healthy. Not to mention the fully operating Release Site that requires similar needs. Every penny helps! We thank everyone for the continued support and hope you consider donating to this very important ongoing fund with TRR!
