As a rescue center, we are eager to spread awareness about wildlife conservation and the struggles that wildlife face in today's industrialized world. Additionally, TRR has had the privilege of educating and sharing our mission with some of the internet’s most avid bloggers, photographers, and videographers.

Filming Agreement & Contract

If you are a videographer, production company, or photographer interested in filming some of Costa Rica’s most exotic and beautiful animals and the work of rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing wildlife - Then Toucan Rescue Ranch is the right place for you.   • Kidz Korner: Tristan, the future sloth conservationist, runs a fundraiser of his own!

    After a few months of making and creating, Tristan and Noelle were finally ready to hold their bake and craft sale fundraiser. They set up a table on our driveway and laid out the goodies we’d all made to sell. There was homemade fudge, condensed milk flapjacks, apple, and strawberry whole-wheat muffins, and an array of crochet ranging from bows to put on presents, flower broaches for coats/handbags/hats to daisy napkin rings.

The group that contains sloths, Xenarthrans, began evolving 65 million years ago, during the age of the dinosaurs. Ever since then these curious fuzzy creatures have diversified and become some of the most interesting and odd-looking groups of animals to ever exist.

    The urban development in Costa Rica and the emergence of power lines running throughout the country’s rich wildlife habitat have endangered the lives of many native animals including monkeys and sloths via electrocution. Conservation group Toucan Rescue Ranch have found ways in working with local companies and communities to create wildlife bridges that allow animals to cross tree canopies and roads safely.

Toucan Rescue Ranch is a non-profit organization dedicated to rehabilitating and conservating Costa Rican wildlife. We offer a variety of events and volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups interested in helping with their mission.
